China Arrests 60 Suspects in Rail Robbery Spree

BEIJING —
Chinese police have arrested 60 people in a crackdown on gangs of robbers who prey on railway passengers, the China Daily said Friday.
It said the gangs had committed 127 major robberies since 1988, killing an unspecified number of passengers.
