In an effort to demystify judicial proceedings, Municipal and Superior Court judges from four areas of the San Gabriel Valley will hold community forums this week.
The judges will talk about current court issues such as the impact of drug-related crimes, how to use traffic and small claims court, family intervention and preservation, sentencing, trial delays, and the role of judge and jury. The main part of the program will be an open forum for questions on any topic except individual cases.

* West Covina Senior Citizens Center, 2501 Cortez St., Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m.
* El Monte Community Center, 3130 Tyler St., Wednesday from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
