Chemists Honor Caltech Professor

The American Institute of Chemists will award its 1990 Gold Medal to Harry Gray, the Arnold O. Beckman professor of chemistry at Caltech.

Gray, who has been at Caltech since 1966, studies chemical reactions involved in electron transfer, a fundamental process that is responsible for energy storage and conversion in all living cells.
