Congress Needs to Reverse High Court Ruling on Producing ID

As the rest of the world, with some exceptions, moves forward, the champion of freedom slips backward. The Congress must act immediately to reverse the Supreme Court’s approval of ID on demand.
Saying police can demand ID with no evidence of a crime, on the basis that the victim need not comply and can simply walk away, is ridiculous. A badge, a gun, a uniform and dark glasses are too intimidating to just walk away from.
This is nothing more than a right-wing court saying, if the police don’t like the way someone looks, they can shake him down.
