Ulster to Get 2 Factories

BELFAST, Northern Ireland — Chicago-based Fruit of the Loom Inc. said today that it will invest $93 million to build two plants in economically depressed Northern Ireland. The Northern Ireland Office said the plants will employ up to 500 people in the province, which has an unemployment rate of 14%, the highest in Britain.
