AIDS Testing

There is one fact neglected in comparing infections with hepatitis B and HIV in the editorial “The Illogic of Secret AIDS Testing” (Feb. 21).

There is a vaccine available to prevent hepatitis B. There is as yet no vaccine to prevent HIV.
