The pool of prospective jurors for John M. Poindexter’s Iran-Contra trial grew to 35, and U.S. District Court Judge Harold H. Greene predicted that opening statements could begin Thursday. Those chosen included a woman who campaigned for the Rev. Jesse Jackson and another familiar enough with the case to know former President Ronald Reagan had refused to turn over his personal diary. Eleven people were disqualified.
