French Pilots Will Strike

PARIS —
A 24-hour strike by France’s biggest air pilots’ union starting at midnight tonight will ground 40% of Air France’s medium-haul flights and 60% of Air Inter’s domestic traffic, the two airline companies said Tuesday. But long-haul flights scheduled by both Air France and UTA will not be affected by the stoppage.
