MONEY BACK: He’s no longer seeking a seat on the Board of Supervisors, so Newport Beach attorney Dana W. Reed says he’s going to refund $20,000 to his contributors. . . . Although not required by law to make the refund--about a third of what was raised--Reed explained that “I may want to run again in four years, and I’d like contributors to know that I’ve returned the money when I decided not to run.”
