Nissan Expands U.S. Exports: Nissan Motor Corp. U.S.A. began exporting U.S.-made cars and pickup trucks to Taiwan, expanding the number of vehicles shipped overseas from the company’s assembly plant in Tennessee. The first shipment from the Port of Los Angeles consisted of 330 Sentra XE sedans and four-wheel-drive trucks. Nissan has been exporting U.S.-made trucks to Japan.
