Conrad’s ‘Bias’
Re Paul Conrad’s “Reagan Administration’s Legacy to the People of Nicaragua” (March 1): Conrad once again reveals his sick anti-Reagan bias.
The pressure that President Reagan put on the Sandinistas brought free elections and democracy to Nicaragua. The fact that lives were lost only reaffirms the high cost of freedom.
I think the people of Nicaragua owe a debt of gratitude to Reagan, who inspired a worldwide rejection of communism.
