Camera Tapes 4 Confronting Wounded Man
Four suspected gang members shot a man inside a La Puente liquor store and chased him to a nearby hamburger stand where a security camera taped the confrontation, authorities said Friday.
Lt. Ray Baytos, Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman, said Jose Alvarado, 22, of El Monte was shot once in the stomach at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the liquor store but managed to drive himself to a nearby Gabby’s hamburger stand. It was there, Baytos said, that the four alleged gang members confronted Alvarado again and were videotaped by a security camera.
“The tape clearly shows the faces of the suspects,” Baytos said.
