Quiksilver Inc.: Officials at the Costa Mesa-based clothing designer and distributor said net income reached a record $1.4 million for the company’s fiscal 1990 first quarter ended Jan. 31, up 67% from the $822,000 posted for the comparable period a year ago. Revenue rose 45% to $18.1 million, from $12.5 million.
