USC freshman Brian Earley won the men’s 3-meter diving title at the NCAA Zone E regional championships at Provo, Utah.
Earley, who also won the one-meter title Friday, scored 514.55 points in the 3-meter event to qualify in both for the NCAA Championships March 22-24 at Indianapolis.
UCLA’s Chris Dudka was second in the 3-meter event with a score of 510.20. Terry Griffith of Brigham Young took third with 502.95. Earley, Dudka and Griffith also were the top three divers Friday and all advance to the national collegiate meet.
Zone E includes colleges and universities from Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico and Utah.
