* Jada Brown, 4th grade, 10 years old

“There are a lot of homeless people out when they spray. If they snore or sleep with their mouths open, they’re going to catch a disease.”

* Timothy Stephens, 5th grade, 9 years old

“They should spray at more agricultural areas. I have never seen a Medfly here and if I did see one I would kill it.”

* Alex Gonzalez, 4th grade, 9 years old

“The spraying is bad for the trees and if we don’t have trees we won’t have any oxygen.”

* Vanessa Rodriguez, 4th grade, 9 years old

“It’s bad for kids because when we go outside to play ball, the spray is all over the ground and it gets on the ball and then on our hands and sometimes we forget to wash our hands and we eat the stuff.”

* Freddy Ramos, 4th grade, 10 years old

“They shouldn’t spray, because it’s like poison for the people who are outside.”

* Leandro Ramos, 4th grade, 10 years old

“Whenever they spray we have to wash our car because it has white dust all over it. And it takes a long time to get it off.”
