Countywide : Blended Beige Paint Offered for Sale
Officials in Thousand Oaks, awash in paint collected during a recent campaign against hazardous household waste, have offered it for sale to residents.
The beige paint, a blend of all paints collected during the drive, is available for $2 per gallon at the city’s municipal service center, officials announced Tuesday.
About 60 gallons of the blended paint was used last year in the city’s campaign against graffiti. At its regular meeting, the City Council was told of the plan to sell the remainder of the paint.
