WORLD IN BRIEF : HAITI : Hundreds Strike to Protest Bosses

Hundreds of Haitian workers walked off the job, temporarily closing the Port-au-Prince airport and disrupting public services, to demand the dismissal of company bosses who served under the deposed military regime. No serious violence was reported. The walkouts came on the first full day of the provisional government of Ertha Pascal Trouillot.
