BRIDGE BUILDER: Lynne Cox, the long-distance swimmer from Los Alamitos who swam the frigid Bering Strait from Alaska to Russia in 1987 and Siberia’s Lake Baikal in 1988, has a new goal: a 10- to 15-mile swim on the Spree River through Berlin in mid-May. . . . “I want to symbolically link the two Germanys,” she announced Wednesday.
