Security Experts Inc., one of the defendants in former University of Kentucky assistant basketball coach Dwane Casey’s $6.9-million lawsuit against Emery Air Freight, has settled out of court in Lexington, Ky. Terms were not disclosed in the motion.
The suit stems from a March 31, 1988, incident in which an overnight letter allegedly containing $1,000 and a videotape for Kentucky recruit Chris Mills reportedly opened at the Emery Air Freight terminal in Los Angeles. Security Experts was under contract with Emery to provide security services at the facility.
