Imelda Marcos Arrives in N.Y. for Racketeering Trial

NEW YORK —
Former Philippines First Lady Imelda Marcos arrived Thursday to prepare for her racketeering trial next week with Saudi Arabian businessman Adnan Khashoggi.
Marcos was to appear, along with Khashoggi, at a pretrial conference this morning between attorneys in the case and Judge John Keenan in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin Tuesday.
