SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Institute to Display Rocks From Moon
A display of moon rocks will be presented by a local scientific research group as part of the weeklong Fiesta de Golondrinas.
Starting Sunday, the San Juan Institute will show the lunar rocks in conjunction with an exhibit on outer space that will also feature recent photos of the outer planets taken by the Voyager space probe.
The rocks will be on display Sunday at the San Juan Institute, 31872 Camino Capistrano, from 1 to 4 p.m. and on the following Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at the same time. The free exhibit is open to the public.
