THIS WEEK

MISSIONS CONFERENCE: The 61st annual missions conference under the theme “Do You Love Me?” will feature more than 40 evangelical mission organizations conducting seminars at Biola University in La Mirada beginning at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and continuing through Friday.

WOMEN’S HISTORY: U.S. Rep. Barbara Boxer (D-Greenbrae) will relate some of her experiences in the legislative process as part of a celebration of Women’s History Month at Cal State Long Beach. She will speak at noon Friday.

SEASON FINALE: George de la Pena will peform the title role of “Petrushka” for the first time on the West Coast with the Long Beach Ballet. Performances of the final ballet of the season will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Center Theatre at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.
