COUNTYWIDE : Public May Apply for LAFCO Vacancy
The Ventura County Local Agency Formation Commission is accepting applications from county residents interested in representing the public on issues pertaining to city boundaries.
Applications, including a letter of interest and resume or biographical sketch, will be accepted until 5 p.m. Friday at the LAFCO office in Ventura.
The commission usually meets on the third Wednesday of each month.
It includes two members of the county Board of Supervisors, two members of city councils and a member representing the general public. The new member will be chosen by the other four LAFCO members.
