Alpine
Two unidentified men were found dead Sunday on a 15-foot embankment in Alpine, a coroner’s deputy said.
Both men were described as white, between the ages of 25 and 35, with brown hair. One had a mustache and weighed 128 pounds. He was wearing a ring inscribed GED 1984. The other man weighed 159 pounds and had the name Michael tattooed on his right ankle.
They were found at 9 p.m. Sunday at a turnout on Lions Valley Road, about a mile south of Japatul Road. Anyone with information about the men should contact the Sheriff’s Department at 692-5600 or 565-5200.
