Hammond Repurchase
The Hammond Co., a Newport Beach mortgage banker, has completed the repurchase of 391,390 common shares, or 23.5% of its own stock outstanding, from Irvine-based Fidelity National Financial Co., the title insurer. Hammond paid $4.83 a share, or $1.9 million, on Feb. 28, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
