AIDS Testing to Be Offered During Public Health Week
The Department of Health and Human Services will offer daily AIDS education and HIV testing in the department’s Women, Infants and Children’s Program and Prenatal Clinic as part of the third annual Los Angeles County Public Health Week. Activities will run April 2 to 7 with the theme “An Investment in the Future.”
The department will coordinate AIDS education and testing activities with the Cal State Long Beach AIDS Education and Research Project, the United Cambodian Community and the Cal State Long Beach National Institute of Drug Abuse Program.
