Anheuser to Sponsor Rolling Stones Tour: Anheuser-Busch Cos. said it will sponsor the Rolling Stones’ 1990 European tour to debut May 18 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and include Berlin and possibly another Eastern European city. It will be the first European tour since 1982 by the famed British group. The St. Louis-based manufacturer of Budweiser beer, sponsored the Stones “Steel Wheels” tour in the United States and Canada last year.
