I read the article about the Moscow...

I read the article about the Moscow circus (“Dazzling Acts With Just One Ring,” March 16), and the next day I went. I thought that it was great except for the parts with the animals. The bears looked cute walking and dancing with clothes on, but I think they would be happier out in the wild than having to be in a circus.

I loved the horses, because they were pretty, but when I heard the crack of the whip I felt they might not want to have to go through the hoop with the knives and have people climbing all over them.

I think it’s great if the people want to do those great tricks, but if I were an animal I would not like to learn all those tricks.
