Unborn Endangered

Share

The scales of justice sure seem to be terribly unbalanced these days. Recently I read about a judge fining Operation Rescue the outrageous sum of $400,000 for a peaceful gathering in New York City. Then I read of our 4th District Court of Appeal ruling that a “fetal-protection policy” at a company that manufactures automotive batteries is discriminatory.

This policy was meant to protect unborn children because the air on the assembly lines has a high lead content and medical research shows that a fetus must be protected from much lower levels of lead than adults.

Now, this woman intends to begin working on these assembly lines, and then if she becomes pregnant in the near future, she will no doubt sue this company again because her baby was born with birth defects caused by her working conditions.

So much for justice for all. No matter what we do or how we do it, if we are trying to protect the unborn we will be penalized.
