Crescott Sells Some Shares in Dataproducts

Share

Crescott Partners, a New York investor group that abandoned a takeover bid for Dataproducts Corp. in January, cut its stake in the Woodland Hills computer-printer maker.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Crescott said it sold 411,911 common shares of Dataproducts between Jan. 24 and March 15 at prices between $5.87 and $10 a share. The group now owns 1.1 million shares.

The sale included 334,772 shares sold back to Dataproducts for $10 a share under the company’s self-tender offer, in which Dataproducts repurchased about 20% of its stock as part of a restructuring plan.
