Diodes Inc., a Chatsworth semiconductor maker, said it lost $573,955 in the three months ended Jan. 31, compared to a loss of $104,310 in the same period a year ago. The company said its sales for the quarter increased 2% to $3.11 million from $3.06 million a year earlier.

For the nine months ended Jan. 31, Diodes lost $497,481, compared to a profit of $61,048 a year before. Nine-month revenues fell 12% to $9.44 million from $10.69 million last year.

Diodes attributed some of the loss for the quarter to $255,665 in charges stemming from the shutdown of its NAE Inc. subsidiary in Massachusetts, which had been losing money.
