Fleischman on Abortion

Share

The column is by far the best summary of the abortion issue I’ve read yet. It views the problem objectively and in the broader light of all taking of human life.

The article, however, didn’t point out the failure aspect of abortion. It is without doubt the worst way of birth control and population control, both of which are desperately needed in the entire world, including the Southland. Abortion is used because of a failure of morality, sexual control, contraceptives, family planning and, on a more random basis, genetic failure. It is also dangerous for the woman.

What is almost never mentioned in the abortion debate is promoting the most effective way to remove the need for abortions, that is the encouragement of voluntary sterilization. This is certainly a much, much preferred alternative to abortion! (In answer to potential critics, yes I have!)
