OTS Extends Capital Plans Review: The Office of Thrift Supervision said it is extending by 30 days the process of reviewing capital restoration plans submitted by savings institutions across the country. Originally, the agency had expected to finish the review by the end of March. However, the agency said it needed more time because of the volume and complexity of the plans submitted. To date, a total of 577 capital plans have been submitted to OTS, of which 64 have been approved, 127 denied and 52 withdrawn.
