Security Pacific Corp., Los Angeles, has named Michael S. Heschel chairman and chief executive of Security Pacific Automation Co., the information services and operations support unit. Heschel, 48, was corporate vice president of Baxter International Inc., responsible for worldwide information services and computer operations. He replaces John P. Singleton, who was promoted to chief operating officer of Security Pacific Corp. in January.
