41 Killed in Bus Plunge

CALCUTTA —
A private bus with more than 60 people aboard plunged from a bridge west of Calcutta and struck power lines, igniting the vehicle, killing at least 41 people and injuring 20 others, Indian police said. The mishap occurred late Monday night near Kharagpura, about 60 miles west of Calcutta.
