Crisis Over Lithuanian Independence

Share

The Times gave us a long list of complaints and fears coming from Lithuania’s minorities, Russians and Poles (Part A, March 29). Don’t the Russians and Poles understand that their economic and social problems were created during the 50-year Soviet occupation by the government in the Kremlin, and not by the Lithuanian government which has been in power for only a few weeks? Why are they allowing themselves to be manipulated by Moscow? When will they realize that people of all nationalities living in Lithuania have one common enemy--communism?
