A Sticky Error

A grave error was made by A. J. Hand in “Building Furniture Is Easy as PVC” (March 11).

In the article there is a very good description on how to make pipe furniture. What was left out was that one side should not be glued to the seat pipes at the tee but should be screwed instead. This is to allow replacement of the seat canvas at some future date without having to cut the pipe.
