Pasadena : Hearing on Northwest Plan
Residents of Northwest Pasadena will give city officials their opinions and ideas at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Jackie Robinson Park gymnasium, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
The city’s Northwest Task Force is holding a second public hearing as part of its evaluation of the city’s Northwest Plan, a five-year project to improve the city’s predominantly minority community. Ideas will be sought on how the area of the city has fared in economic development, employment, public safety, the environment and human services, such as police and fire protection and recreation programs.
A final hearing will be held April 28 before the task force presents its findings to the Board of Directors.
