NATION IN BRIEF : INDIANA : Doctor Offers Hope for AIDS Victim

A doctor treating Ryan White, the AIDS patient who gained national attention during his fight to attend school near Kokomo, Ind., expressed hope White could recover from his latest infection but cautioned against being too optimistic. White remains heavily sedated and on a respirator at an Indianapolis hospital, where he has been confined for treatment of a respiratory infection complicated by the AIDS virus.
