Danny Everett’s world indoor record of 45.04 seconds in the 400 meters will be disallowed by the IAAF. The former UCLA track star, who runs for the Santa Monica Track Club, set the mark in Stuttgart in February.

Instead of using a 200-meter staggered start and breaking to the pole, the runners all stayed in their starting lanes, with the goal of setting a world record.
