Supreme Court Upholds Stay of Execution for Harris
I found the front page (March 31) to be an interesting and enlightening commentary on the workings of society.
Adjacent to the article about the stay of execution for convicted murderer Harris was an article about the animal control officials’ decision to prohibit the adoption of pit bulls and similar animals from the pounds with the result that they will be put to sleep.
I find it amazing that a subhuman species is allowed to live while innocent animals are condemned to death. Perhaps the animals need an appeal system as convoluted and ineffective as the one Harris is playing so well.
