More on the ‘Best’

In the March 11 article on who is the “best” or award-winner among the realtors, “Why Does Realty Board Not Give Answer?”, there is one point that was left unexplained to Robert Bruss.
Here it is: Achievement in real estate sales should not be measured by the amount of commission he or she has brought in to his or her office. A successful realtor may sell two or three medium-priced single-family homes per month; another realtor may sell three or four high-priced homes in the wealthiest section of the town during the entire year.
Obviously the service rendered by the first realtor to the community in general by far outweighs to the services of the latter in enabling a good number, most likely, first-time buyers to own their dream. The satisfaction is so great. Yet, the rewards in terms of money may not be as big as for the latter, who may be among the top award winners. Please take a note of that.
