Bank Sues David Orgell’s Widow: Wells Fargo Bank brought suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday against Teddy Orgell, the widow of David Orgell, founder of the Beverly Hills store that bears his name, over an overdue loan of $450,000 extended in November. Teddy Orgell said through a spokesman that the loan is a corporate debt, not a personal liability. The company filed for reorganization in November, 1989, and then sold its fixed assets and inventory to a private holding company. (Filed April 3, 1990. Case No. C757141)
