HUNTINGTON BEACH : Pedestrian Killed When Hit by Pickup

A 30-year-old Huntington Beach man was hit by a pickup truck and killed as he tried to cross Beach Boulevard late Monday, police said today.
Simon Isidoro was pronounced dead of internal injuries at Pacifica Community Hospital shortly after 11 p.m.
Police Sgt. Ed Deuel said Isidoro was walking across Beach south of Williams Avenue when he was struck by a Chevy Blazer driven by a West Covina man.
Deuel said no citations have been issued and an investigation is continuing.
