MOVIE DEAL: Rights to a play commissioned by South Coast Repertory have sold to the movies for “an estimated $1 million or more,” says Variety. . . . Craig Lucas’ “Prelude to a Kiss,” which premiered at SCR in January, 1988, was bought by 20th Century Fox after an off-Broadway version was staged this spring in New York.
