Former Police Officer Named Municipal Judge
A former Culver City police officer has been named by Gov. George Deukmejian as a Municipal Court judge in Los Angeles County.
The governor’s announcement said Michael E. Knight, 51, of Northridge, replaces Judge Michael Hoff, who was elevated to the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Knight served on the Culver City police force from 1962 to 1970, when he became a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney.
Municipal Court judges earn $86,157 a year.
