Williams-Sonoma in Closet Deal: Williams-Sonoma Inc., the San Francisco-based retailer of kitchenware and specialty home and garden products, agreed in principle to acquire California Closet Co. in Woodland Hills. The terms were not disclosed. California Closet sells its closet-reorganizing services through 97 franchise territories and five company-owned territories, which produce annual sales of about $60 million.
