YORBA LINDA : Remodeling to Close Library for a Month

Share

The Yorba Linda Public Library will close for one month starting Monday for renovation.

The renovation will include a complete redesign of the main floor to provide additional shelving and seating, a new circulation desk and a centralized reference desk. The facility was built in 1960 and enlarged in 1970 but has never undergone extensive renovation, library officials said.

While the library is closed, Placentia and Anaheim libraries can be used for return of Yorba Linda library materials and for other services.

During the closure, the staff will move the Yorba Linda library collection to a temporary modular building in the lower parking lot. The library is expected to reopen in this temporary building May 14, although space and services will be reduced.
