Auto Sales Drop: Sales of North American-made cars and light trucks tumbled 11.2% in early April from the incentive-boosted sales levels of the same period last year, auto makers said. Chrysler posted the biggest drop, with its car sales falling 29.2% during the April 1-10 period from a year earlier, when the No. 3 auto maker had just announced interest-free financing on some vehicles. Ford’s car sales slid 20.7% and General Motors’s fell 13.6% from the year-earlier period, the companies said.
