Trading Suspended: Southland Communications, a provider of paging services, has been suspended from trading on the NASDAQ exchange until the National Assn. of Securities Dealers can determine whether the company meets its net worth capital requirements.
Enno Hobbing, NASD spokesman, said the company must show it has total assets of $750,000 and capital in surplus of $375,000. The Securities and Exchange Commission suspended trading of the Santa Ana-based company’s stock two weeks ago to investigate unusual trading activity.
